Airbnb's revamped pricing strategy, aimed at addressing concerns over hidden and high fees, involved two years of testing and refinement.

The "Clearer Fees" initiative focused on redesigning the price display for Guests across all platforms, while also rethinking how Hosts set their prices, ultimately enhancing transparency for both sides.

I worked as a Senior Experience Designer on the Marketplace Dynamics team, which is responsible for balancing supply and demand within the Airbnb marketplace. This included overseeing pricing. Our team included designers, UX writing, DPM, TPM, engineers, PM, PMM, legal, and business operations.

We shipped Guest Total Price Display, redesigned Host settings and calendar, and redesigned pricing onboarding.
